Each year, TAMY awards will be given to one emerging firm* and one large company in each of the following categories:

• Corporate Repositioning Award
  Honors companies that have reinvented themselves in the marketplace, either by repositioning themselves in their category or expanding into new categories.
• Marketing For Growth Award
  Recognizes companies that have used marketing to measurably boost overall growth in terms of sales or market share.
• Marketing to the “C” Level Award
  Highlights companies that have driven growth through successful marketing program addressed at reaching “C” Level executives.
• Customer Marketing Award
  Acknowledges the best marketing campaign to generate incremental revenues by increasing a company’s share of existing customers.
• Marketing Tactic Award
  Spotlights excellence in an individual marketing tactic or program, such as advertising, PR, direct mail, marketing collateral, presentation, e-marketing, interactive, website, or e-mail.

*An emerging firm is a business with revenues less than $10 million

Launched in 2006, TAG Marketing named a Technology Marketing Executive of the Year based on peer nominations for a marketing executive who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, either at a technology company or in a technology role within a non-technology corporation. This award recognizes a technology marketing executive who has made a positive impact not on only their own company’s results, but also on the advancement of technology marketing as a whole.

Terrie O'Hanlon serves as Manhattan Associates' senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Ms. O'Hanlon oversees global marketing, brand strategy, corporate and industry communications, and demand generation for the company. Ms. O'Hanlon has more than 20 years of experience marketing software, hardware and services to businesses and consumers in the technology industry. She has helped to build brands and market share through executive marketing positions at companies such as WebMD, CheckFree, Per-Se Technologies and Dun & Bradstreet Software. Ms. O'Hanlon also has developed marketing and communications strategies for companies such as Nokia, IBM, Hitachi, Scientific-Atlanta, I4 Commerce and Tenrox through management positions at leading technology marketing agencies. Ms. O'Hanlon holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Florida, where she was honored as valedictorian.
